Scholarship week

I got word this morning that issuance denied the appeal for Alex and that his stay beyond 12/23 was not covered. In other words, by the time they tell me I’m responsible for that time they already have 10k on my tab. We’ll need to work something out since I was not warned but after talking with the family therapist and him reaching out to the clinical director we have decided to bring Alex home next week (probably Saturday) but he will be on scholarship during that time (ie. they will swollow the cost or take it out of a fund that they use for things like this). It’s good to be able to have a runway towards his return and hopefully I can work out a settlement on this 10k (like 5k paid over time) so that we are not financially buried for a year.
