Fighting against the Lamb

I just noticed the symmetry between the fact that the Jews combined to fight against the twelve apostles of the Lamb after the death of Christ who represented the new covenant and the fact that the gentiles are fighting and will fight unitedly against the Jews who represent the old covenant. People may mistakenly think that the old and new covenants are in competition with each other but the fact that the Lord made both covenants should tell us unequivocally that they are aligned together and that fighting against one is fighting against both even if we think we are defending one from the other.
