I finished reading Oath and Honor today and in my review I think I captured the fundamental thing that should guide our political decisions:
May we as American voters accept the truth of what led to that devastating day (January 6th) and always remember the importance of selecting people of strong character who are committed to preserving a free government for future generations.
May we always hold the preservation of our nation and the upholding of our Constitution above any partisan policy differences.
Many times in the last few years I have wondered if we will have a Captain Moroni to inspire good people to rush to the defense of their country. Today I concluded that we may not get anyone better in that role than Luz Cheney. Whether or not that conclusion is true we need to have good people rally around a common commitment to preserve the foundations of our liberty.
