Once again the counsel that what the Lord gives to those in His service by way of material goods, they should return by consecration to His storehouse anything which exceeds their needs. Also, the Lord here says that all who receive temporal goods for their dedicated service to the Lord (such as the missionaries do) shall receive equally and not begrudge it.

That suggests that the prophet and the apostles have identical stipends.
