  • Yesterday reminded me how I lack any leeway to deal financially with the unexpected.
    • I need to talk with Allen but I’ve got a great story to illustrate my meaning.
  • I feel resolute
• A place of Mormon
  • I have long wanted a getaway location that was special to my family. While studying scriptures yesterday I felt the conceptual connection between that and the place of Mormon for the people of Alma.
    • I am looking for a physical place of retreat or place of resort where we can set the world aside at times and focus on things of eternal significance.
  • The more I write about it the more it sounds like the temple but I recognize a key difference that is crucial to this place—it has to be accessible to even those in the family who can’t go to the temple.
  • Our place of Mormon (which is how I will refer to it for now) must have:
    • Water
    • Trees
    • Seclusion
    • Ease of access (for example, no requirements for 4 wheel drive or a half mile hike to get there)
  • I need to talk to Laura about this concept.
  • I feel yearning
