The first news we got from Vantage Point this morning was the Ezra had torn apart his room and even used a rock to destroy the camera in the room. At that point they weren’t even certain if he would cooperate enough to be able to remain. Thankfully in the afternoon the therapist called after he was able to meet with Ezra. He said that Ezra was asking to stay an extra day at Vantage Point—which we all agreed would be fine if he still wanted that by tomorrow—and he Said that he felt he could get extra to work with him for therapy. He also told me that they offer free therapy for three months after kids leave Vantage Point. If Ezra is willing to work with him that would be awesome.
Tonight for scripture study Laura and I saw a video about a family where the kids responded to a challenge from their bishop to make their home a sacred space and by small acts of their own choosing they felt a great difference in their home. Laura and I both wished we could have something like that in our home.
