When the Lord talks of men who set at naught the counsels of God and boasts in his won strength he was talking more about Martin Harris than about Joseph although both of them succumbed to the persuasions of men (Martin to his wife and Joseph to Martin). Thankfully the Lord is merciful and both men finished their lives faithful.
