In reading President Nelson’s article from January 2021 I realized one tweak I need to make in my prayers. I have gotten much better about speaking and exploring the things I’m concerned about but I am not always taking time to listen closely after I finish talking. I’m going to try being better at listening and recording my impressions than I have been. My goal will be to record more of the thoughts the spirit brings than the thoughts I bring. (I’ll still record at least enough of my thoughts to have context for the inspirations.)
