I had an incredible recovery today after a stunted and delayed start. Last night I couldn’t get to sleep because my brain was reconfiguring our social safety net as well as designing my new quiet builder tool. I saw the clock at 11:57 and my mind was spinning for a long time after that. I intentionally didn’t give in and get up because I wanted to get back into the rhythm of work. I was surprised when my alarm went off at 5:30 because I realized that I must have gone completely to sleep at some point. I was still tired and slept in for half an hour but managed to recover and get to work nearly in time and stayed busy and engaged throughout the day.
