Korihor and the Zoramites

I wonder if Korihor sought out the Zoramites after he was struck dumb. It may be that he expected to be treated more kindly by a people who did not believe the things he had been preaching against. Of course his muteness would prevent him from joining with the Zoramite practice of proclaiming how uniquely blessed they were and we know that they weren’t kind to the poor among them.
