- More questions about the process of seeking revelation
- I asked yesterday how Joseph Smith knew when to seek revelation and this morning I am wondering if it was less that he knew when to seek revelation and more that he maintained an openness to receive revelation when it came.
- That would work for anyone who had become familiar with the process of revelation.
- The confidence to know that God could and would give him revelations when needed would make it easier for him to be patient with the process.
- I said yesterday that I wanted revelations to help me lead my family in the gospel.
- I received some strokes of intelligence in the pattern that Alma demonstrated in teaching his son Helaman.
- I feel it is becoming more likely that I will eventually need to literally evict at least one of my children from the house after they have reached adulthood. (Possibly even twice within the next year.)
- I will need guidance for how to navigate those unhappy waters—either to find a way to avoid that conclusion or a way to ensure I’ve done everything I can and that I’m doing what is best for the family.
