Moroni may well have believed that Pahoran was not as wicked as he suggested. His letter was addressed to all those leaders of the land and many of them were doubtless instrumental in creating the precarious position that Pahoran was in. I wonder if Moroni knew how close to the truth his words concerning the king-men were?
