When I got a letter from the state with a temporary operating permit for my new car I assumed the plate would take a couple more weeks to arrive. Imagine my surprise to see a license plate sized envelope on my table I knew immediately it was my new plate. When I was getting ready to buy the car I contemplated getting a Ham Radio specialty plate but when I saw the new plate number I got I laid that idea aside. I got 8FHE4 as my new plate. I love the FHE reminder and the 8 is obviously fitting.
I had a meeting at the school to talk about Ezra’s attendance (or lack thereof) and I also made sure to ask about their plans to prevent another altercation of kids hanging up on Ezra as they did on Monday. It was good that we identified the only class Ezra had with one of the boys that have been trying to fight him at school and they are going to swap classes for either Ezra or Jack so they have no classes together. We also talked about how to have extra oversight during lunch since that’s when Jack and his gang went after Ezra on Monday. I’m hopeful that they will be able to establish an environment where Ezra isn’t getting attacked anymore.
