This is the outline of how I imagine the lesson tomorrow unfolding.
Review the 1820-1830 “days never to be forgotten” with the personal “decade never to be forgotten” that Elder Stevenson described. Compare those periods of time and consider how they relate to your current and upcoming years.
Talk about the origin story nature of each of those decades and talk about any other origin stories that people relate to.
Talk about the work required during any of the stories we have discussed? Were any of them easy? Why do we remember them?
What difference does it make if we deliberately incorporate the activities of living the gospel, caring for others, inviting others to receive the gospel, and uniting families?
