I’m not sure I will ever understand how the Amulonites and Amalakites managed togain postions of leadership among the Lamanites to stir them up against the Nephites and to kill Lamanites who were converted to the truth. It makes sense in the days of Ammoron and Amalakiah, who were Nephite dissenters who had usurped the Lamanite throne, but before then it surprises me that the Nephite dissenters consistently found their way into positions of authority.
