Any true disciple of Christ would look forward to the day when none but Christ will be exalted—even if other parts of that day are uncomfortable for them.

Isaiah warns that the Lord will take away the wise man, the prudent man, the man of war, and the counselor from among Israel. I wonder if it’s possible for them to be among Israel but effectively be taken away because Israel will not harken to their counsel.
