Mosiah 5 – 6
Mosiah had not told the people to make a covenant – the spirit whispered to them that they should covenant to be obedient. Mosiah then confirmed the righteousness of this choice and gave them the name by which they would be called at judgment – even the name of Christ – and told them to always keep it written in their hearts and not to forget it and transgress His law. Afterwards the names of those who made the covenant were taken and priests were appointed to help the people to remember their covenant. Mosiah was anointed to be king, and the people returned to their homes. After three years of peace, with Mosiah reigning in righteousness, Benjamin died.
