Mosiah 24: 1-7
It is amazing how much secular learning advanced the civilization of the Lamanites under the instruction of Amulon and his brethren. We should remember that all learning is light and of God even if it is not all equal. Without the spiritual knowledge that the sons of Mosiah would later bring, the Lamanites would all have fallen back to the most primitive state eventually where they would have lost the secular knowledge that the priests of Noah brought among them.
