Mosiah 7: 1-7
It is worth noting that the first unrest that Mosiah encountered as king was when the people were agitating to find out about their brethren who had left two generations earlier to live in the land of Nephi. I’m sure that Mosiah was anxious for news as well when he granted that 16 men could go in search of their brethren. Those 16 men wandered for 40 days before camping on a hill overlooking a city. The next day 4 of the 16 went down toward the city where they were captured.
