3 Nephi 8
It seems like because of the efforts of Nephi and others the people were as well prepared by the end of the 33rd year as they had been for years. Many had repented and joined the church after years of pride and iniquity. Overall there was still much wickedness but there were substantially more righteous people in the land than there had been even two or four years earlier.
