Judges 20
It amazes me that the tribe of Benjamin would fight rather than deliver the guilty men up to the restof the people of Israel.
This was soon enough after their deliverance from Egypt that the grandson of Aaron was still the high priest for Israel. The people of Israel prayed for instruction and were told to go to battle and yet for the first two days they were slaughtered by the belligerent men of Benjamin.
Because of their defence of depravity the tribe of Benjamin was treated just as the previous inhabitants of the land had been treated.
