Deuteronomy 23 – 24
“He that is wounded in the stones or hath his privy member cut off” sounds like genital mutilation and might be meant to indicate eunuchs. I really with there were an “or”, “ie”, or “heb” in the footnotes to clarify that. Those with Edomite or Egyptian blood who joined Israel could enter the congregation in the thirg generation after joining Israel but those with Moabite or Ammonite blood could not join until the tenth generation. I remember being taught how easy it was for a man to divorce a woman under Mosaic law but the truth is that it was only allowed if he found her to be unfaithful in her marriage vows. I notice that a husband cannot remarry a wife if she has married again dice their divorce.

When the Lord command them not to glean their fields or fruit trees He is implicitly promising abundance of yield as He asks them to be generous.
