It’s interesting to see the complication that arose from women being able to inherit. The solution was that women were only permitted to marry within the tribe of their father if they inherited anything from him. It is written as if they are to marry within their tribe always but it seems that there must be a way to marry outside the tribe if they have brothers to inherit their father’s possession on the understanding that the children they bear would belong to the tribe of their father.
