Leviticus 2 – 3
Leaven and honey were forbidden in breads used for sacrifice but salt was required in all of them. The firstfruits being offered as oblations were not burned. I wonder if the firstfruits are of higher quality than the rest of the harvest or if this is simply a reminder that our first economic obligation should be to the Lord.

The people were forbidden ever to eat fat or blood.
