Exodus 14 – 15
I didn’t know that the pilar of the Lord was darkness to the Egyptians even at the same time as it gave light to the children of Israel. I will always wonder if Pharaoh went into the sea with his men because we are told that every man who went in perished. Thatmay mean that the whole army of Egypt was destroyed or it may mean that only part followed Israel into the sea. Before they died many of them felt how poorly their chariots were working and acknowledged the god of Israel as a worthy foe.
Chapter 15 is Moses’ song of redeemig love.
