Alma 21 – 22
in chapter 21 it almost sounds like Aaron did some preaching in the land after being saved from the prison in Middoni before he arrived at the home of the king over all the Lamanites. In chapter 22 however it sounds like we basically went directly there after being rescued from Middoni.
I love Alma 22:14 – “And since man had fallen he could not merit anything of himself; but the sufferings and death of Christ atone for their sins, through faith and repentance, and so forth; and that he (Christ) breaketh the bands of death, that the grave shall have no victory, and that the sting of death should be swallowed up in the hopes of glory;” I think that pretty well sums up the gospel plan. Besides that there are the details about how we exercise faith and repentance to receive the fruits of the mission of our Savior.
