Alma 6 – 8
I love how Alma declares that it is a mercy from the Lord that he was able to give up the judgment seat and come speak to the people of Gideon. After his first visit to Ammonihah Alma was probably wishing for the simple wickedness that he had found in Zerahemla rather than this hardened version.
This indicates that the missionary work of Alma and Amulek in Ammonihah was more extensive than the story of their teaching and debate with Zeezrom. They were thown into prison on various occasions prior to that final event.
