Mosiah 3 – 4
I love how the angel explained to Mosiah that all men can be privileged alike with regard to enjoying the fruits of faith unto salvation regardless of whether the life before, during, or after the life of their Savior.
What is the fear of the Lord that caused a people who had just been declared clean enough to rejoice in the knowledge of the Savior to fall to their faces on the earth? I guess their being declared clean was because they were humble enough to recognize their need for the atoning blood of Christ and is an indication of why they received the peace of conscience so quickly after they sought his cleansing power.
This sermon by Benjamin fits very well with the lifetime of sermons that would be given by Alma the younger a generation later.
