Ether 1
Did Moroni expect that we would have a chance in our day to find and translate the record of Ether? Perhaps he had those two record hidden together, or perhaps he had that record in the sealed portion of the plates.

Note that the one group whose language was not confounded was still scattered abroad in the land like the rest of the people in Babel.
