The way Nephi spoke against the corruption of the Nephite law is the way that we need people to speak against the corruption that has become part of our law today as opposed to the purity of the Constitution upon which the country was founded. Nephi was given to prophesy concerning the murder of teh chief judge because he was testifying of other prophets who had made prophecy which was fulfilled and used that as evidence of the fulfillment of their prophecies concerning Christ. As he testified of Christ the Spirit whispered a prophecy to him that could then be verified by the people – thus bearing witness to his testimony of Christ.
