Another day of Alyssa and Mariah not doing chores – I really wish we could find a consequence that would get the point across. The kids (aside from Savannah) are reverting to the old bedtime routine of ignoring bedtime and pestering for hours after devotional – that has to stop. On a happier note, I was cheered when I opened the mailbox and saw a small envelope addressed to “Brother Miller” from Ashley Eyring. It was easy to assume that it was a thank you note, but I very much enjoyed reading it and feeling that I had an impact in that class while I was able to teach there.
