I feel battered by everything today. I made some progress on the failing report at work and made some inquiries which might hopefully lead to wider readership of Politics Elevated. When I got home I did some banking and saw that we are not paying this debt down as fast as I had hoped – it’s frustrating. Debt truly is slavery. Also, Laura has finally recognized that we have a confirmed kleptomaniac among our children – despite that recognition which I had tried to alert her to long ago she feels it necessary to contradict what I have told her is the proper approach to dealing with the problem – and she refuses to even discuss the issue of responding. Cute – no chance for discussion or reason and I get to be the bad guy. Sadly, in the end I have no doubt that whatever method she wishes she could use to deal with the problem will prove to be ineffective. I do not look forward to curing this disease.
