Job 24 – 27
This almost sounds as is Job is lamenting that only the wicked prosper in this life even though they will not prosper after death. (Sounds like sour grapes.)

When Bildad responds that nobody is really righteous Job says “thanks for nothing, there is no comfort to be had in your words.”

On their surface, Job’s professions of righteousness sound good but in context they sound rather prideful. Job has been taught correct principles but in his bitterness he is thrashing and flailing about in search of comfort like a fish out of water.
