Job 34 – 35
I love what Elihu describes as the proper response to a situation such as Job’s—”I have borne chastisement, I will offend no more. Teach me what I do not see: if I have done iniquity, I will do no more.”

For any who, like Job, think they are as righteous as it is possible to be they must humble themselves to realize that God always has a greater righteousness that He can teach them. God is so much greater than man that no sin of ours lessens Him as it might another man and no righteousness of ours enriches Him as it might another man.
