Psalms 19 – 21
David really did wax poetic in praising the Lord. It is clearly genuine and not merely and affectation. The fact that he could fall is a warning to anyone who might think that they are beyond the reach of the adversary.

I have wondered at the use of the word “selah” in the psalms. There is no one clear meaning but it seems to be an amen and/or a musical term to indicate a pause or musical interlude allowing the audience to ponder.
