Psalms 79 – 81
When would Asaph have written about Jerusalem being conquered and the temple defiled?
I don’t understand why someone would think to claim blessings or revenge based on a covenant they have abandoned.
His questions about how many tears They must shed sounds like a child not understanding what the parent knows about learning and chastisement.
“Thou planted a vine…why hast thou then broken down her hedges?” (Because the vine brought forth poor fruit.)
