Being blessed with exceeding riches while there was still an operating secret combination among them fueled the Gadiantons to take control of their government. They used the same method that Kishkumen and Gadianton had attempted in killing Pahoran and then trying to kill Helaman with the intent to keep killing chief judges until Gadianton was made chief judge. That sounds very much like Jaredite history.
