We have no record of the death of Nephi the son of Heleman just like his great-grandfather, Alma the son of Alma. Given what we do know of Nephi, the possibility of his being translated sounds perfectly reasonable.
Will we ever face a deadline imposed by unbelievers based on a prominent prophecy?
Will we ever see a prophecy fulfilled and then have to wait a generation before we actually see the Savior?
How many people did Nephi have time to tell before it was apparent that the sign was at hand? In other words, how many received a prophecy that they would be able to verify that day?
