3 Nephi 19
People gathered from all around to be there when Christ would again visit on the second day. Because they were there early the people were taught by the twelve disciples who had been called to minister. They taught all that Christ had taught the day before and then prayed to receive the Holy Ghost. Perhaps prompted by the Holy Ghost, and certainly as an example to the people, the disciples were baptized—first was Nephi who then baptized the other eleven—after which they received the Holy Ghost.
The third time Jesus prayed while the people were praying to Him I believe that he spoke in Adamic. The people were able to understand because they had the spirit with them. It they could not repeat what was said.
