3 Nephi 22 – 23
“In righteousness shalt thou be established.” I realize that it is possible to be established without much righteousness but such would always be a very precarious situation. While having a foundation based on righteousness would be more solid it must ever be attended to lest it rot over time and lose the righteousness upon which it was fist established.
I believe that the reason Nephi failed to write about many people arising from the dead and appearing to many people was that there was so much to write about at the time and he focused on the voice out of the darkness with the offer of forgiveness. He really didn’t write much more (that Mormon included at least) until the coming of Christ.
