Another 9 hours of work today (total of 66 now) has enabled me to provide a webmail interface for users and set up an account with PayPal to receive payments. I am working on implementing a payment button and a donation button for the site but I am ready to start talking about the business publicly on the web. I still want to get a customized theme (even just a basic one) before I really start broadcasting and inviting people to sign up but at least the site is ready with our opening functionality. I am also working on making a special pass through login page to squirrelmail so that kids can sign in from the main site and have them land directly in their webmail.
The sad news for today is that Bill was informed that his job is over on July 31. He also got the news that his most promising job prospect has not chosen to hire him. That leaves him in a rather precarious position. Hopefully he gets a good offer soon so that he can make a smooth transition.
