It is wisdom in God that the nature of secret combinations should be shown into us that they may not get above us. In other words, they already exist and we must work to minimize and eliminate them rather than buying into them. This is not simply, “do not start such combinations” but instead, “break down combinations and remove them and build up open societies in their place.”
