Today was a very nice day. We went to This is the Place Heritage Park in the morning with the kids for an hour or so and had a nice time. We came home before everyone got cranky from the heat. For lunch we discovered that all the kids really like having the apricot jam mixed with peanut butter. Analese babysat while Laura and I had a really nice date with dinner at the Bistro on Main in Bountiful (so new their grand opening is next week) and then we attended Brother Brigham’s Ball at This is the Place. It was very fun doing the social dances, following directions and switching partners and meeting new people. We also got to see a public proposal—one of the employees whom we had seen in the morning proposed to another employee there in the middle of the ball. It was well done. After we got home we talked to Analese for three hours. We’re very impressed with how she has matured as a young woman. Hopefully our girls are as well adjusted when they are graduating High School.
