Proverbs 27 – 28
“Boast not thyself of tomorrow; for thou knower not what a day may bring forth.” in other words, as I have learned, nothing is certain until it has come to pass. We may prepare and plan and increase probability for something but things can change—especially in matters where we might feel to boast.
“Better is a neighbor that is near than a brother far off.” That is a strong endorsement for the importance supportive communities.
