Isaiah 56 – 57
We should treat gay people in the church (specifically meaning those who don’t feel able to marry but who choose to live the gospel standards) the way the Lord says Israel should treat eunuchs. They should feel that they have a legitimate place to occupy within the church. Not a second class place but a place that is honored as well as any other within the church. That is how we should treat anyone who does not fit the traditional mold who is willing to live the gospel standards. Those who chose not to live the standards will have to have limited roles in the church united based on what they are not living) but all others should be welcomed and supported equally.
