Ezekiel 33
It must be a heavy responsibility for a prophet to know that the sins of the people will be upon his head if he fails to warn them. For the people the important message here is the message that the Lord does not desire that the wicked should perish but that the wicked should repent.
“Ye defile every one his neighbor’s wife.” I have seen that to be true today.
Ezekiel was reminded that the people accepted him as a prophet and declared that his words were from the Lord yet they would not obey. Sounds like many members of the church today.
