Amos 2 – 3
Chapter two of Amos should be part of chapter one, adding Moab, Judah, and Israel to Damascus, Gaza, Tyrus, Edom, and the children of Ammon.
One of the things that Israel is guilty of is silencing the prophets that God had given them. Now Amos reminds them how foolish that is seeing that God tells the prophets what is to come in order that the people may repent and purpose for the works of the Lord.
