Luke 21
I note that the story of the widows mite is not a parable, it was an observation of an actual occurrence.
Christ promised His apostles that before all the wars, pestilences, earthquakes, etc. they would be persecuted, thrown in prison, and brought before kings.
I would expect that we will see the BYU Jerusalem center emptied before the second coming. In previous conflicts the students have been in a kind of lockdown but Christ said that Jerusalem would be surrounded by armies and then said that this in the midst should flee when that took place. I would expect that the leaders in the church would know when it was time to abandon that facility. Later verses actually make me think that part of the prophecy might already be fulfilled.
This last Passover season for Christ was filled with people eagerly coming to hear Him. Not all of those people would follow His teachings after His death.
