Acts 24 – 25
Paul was held under a type of house arrest after his first hearing before Felix. He was free to do anything and see anyone so long as he didn’t leave until the chief captain from Jerusalem sou ups asti I’ve to give testimony.
It is exciting for Christians since that time that Paul was able to testify before a succession of Roman rulers but I expect that the process of defending himself over and over again stains accusations that were clearly fabricated was wearisome to Paul.
Fraud declared that he couldn’t send Paul to defend himself before Cesar add he desired until he could at least articulate the crimes of which Paul was accused and so far the accusations had been to nebulous to articulate them.
