Ecclesiastes 10
The message here points to the importance of meekness. We need to recognize in ourselves how fragile a good reputation can be. We should also understand how small things, such as appropriate public deference to a legitimate leader or authority figure, can have a significant impact in creating a good reputation. The ability to accept censure can mitigate whatever drove the censure in the first place whether the offence was real or imagined.
